Delta’s virtual graduation ceremony will go live on June 4th at 2:00 pm. Look for the link on this website ( The program will include awards, as well as speeches from a keynote speaker, Delta’s Valedictorian, and others. Graduates’ names and photos will be displayed. 


Q: How will I participate in the virtual graduation ceremony?

A: The pre-recorded ceremony will go live at 2:00 pm on June 4th. A link will be available on Delta’s website ( to view live or at a later time. 


Q: What photo of me will be displayed in the virtual ceremony?

A: Your Aeries ID photo will be used unless you submitted an approved senior photo to the yearbook. If you are okay with your yearbook or Aeries ID photo as your ceremony photo, no further action is required at this time, in terms of the ceremony.


Q: Can I submit a new photo for the virtual graduation? 

A: You can have your photo taken in your cap and gown when you pick it up on May 19th (see below), or you can email a photo to Gabby Perreault at . All photos must meet school dress code requirements. The deadline to submit new photos to Gabby for the ceremony is May 20th at 11:30pm. 


Q: Will a cap and gown be required to participate?

A: No, wearing a cap and gown is NOT required.


Q: How do I get a cap, gown, and tassel if I want one?

A: You may purchase the cap/gown/tassel set on May 19th at Delta from 4:00-6:00 pm for $50 (cash or check), or just a cap and tassel for $25. Remember to come ready to have your picture taken in your cap and gown if you wish to have an updated photo for the virtual ceremony. 


Q: Can I borrow a cap, gown, and tassel for a grad photo?

A: Yes, plan to come to Delta on May 19th, 4:00-6:00 pm, ready to have your photo taken with a borrowed cap and gown.


Q: When and how will I get my diploma?

A: Check on Delta’s website starting in July for information about diploma pick up. Diplomas are not mailed out.  


Q: When is all work due (for online or workbook classes)?

A: The deadline for all work to be turned in, whether online or workbooks, is May 22nd. Talk to your advisor about any questions. 


Q: How and when will I find out if I’m graduating?

Q: What if I owe fees to Delta or another school?

A: Fees must be paid at the school sites to which they are owed. Contact the individual school site for more information. Be sure to get a receipt for any fees paid. If you’re unsure if you owe fees, contact Nicole Zarate at or 805.354.5406. All fees must be paid before you can pick up your diploma. 


Q: What if I have a tablet or books to return?

A: Tablets and books may be turned in at Delta High School. You can return books and tablets to Nicole Zarate at Delta on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10:00 am-1:00 pm, from May 18th to June 3rd. If you’re unsure if you have a tablet or books to return, contact Nicole at or 805.354.5406. All tablets and books must be returned before you can pick up your diploma.


Q: Will there be a physical graduation ceremony at the end of summer or in the fall?

A: At this time, a traditional in-person graduation has been postponed until further notice. If a traditional graduation is held in the future, there will be another opportunity to purchase caps and gowns. 


Q: What other activities will be held for graduates?

A: On June 4, from 5:00-8:00 pm, Delta will host the “Delta Drive Through Grad Pack and Awards Pick Up” event to honor all graduates. This is in place of our end of the year Senior Awards ceremony. Please feel free to decorate your car appropriately to celebrate your graduation!  More details will be available soon on Delta’s website. 


Q: Are the high schools having prom? 

A: No, all schools have cancelled prom at this time.


Q: When are the yearbooks going to be at Delta for pick up?

A: Check back on Delta’s website at the end of May for an exact date.
